Usage Ideas

How do I host better meetings using SPX?

SPX is made for making zoom meetings more productive and efficient. I’m sure you’ve experienced meetings going overtime and/or getting sidetracked from the agenda. By using visual tools, you can keep meetings on track and on-time, thus giving back precious time back to your entire team.

  • Team Meetings

    • Meeting Agenda - Fill in agenda items, go through them with a click of a button

    • Meeting Timer - Give the meeting end time and visual progress bar will appear on the top of the screen.

    • Headlines - A “TV-style ticker” where you can display updates, news, announcements in rotation

  • Large meetings- If you’re hosting/participating in a large meeting, reacting to the conversation can be hard to do without interrupting the speaker. As the host, you can ask participants to react with these graphic:

    • Emoji React - Choose from 100+ animated emojis to react. ie. clapping, fire, hand-raise, etc.

    • Simple Text - Simple text graphic that overlays a bubble with your text on top of your screen. Ie. “you’re muted!”, “I agree”, etc.

How can I make my sales calls more effective with SPX?

Most of your client interactions happen online, and Zoom calls are the next best communication method after an IRL meeting. But there are actually advantages to Zoom over a real life meeting in that it is “digital” and the experience can be enhanced with tools such as SPX.

  • Branding - Just like how you would give business cards to new clients for them to remember you, we recreated that experience digitally! Use the nametag/logo graphics to brand yourself professionally. Get the Pro plan to use your own logo and customize the look

  • Presentation - Most of us use slide shows as the only tool for visual presentation on Zoom. Instead, try using the Slides graphic to give a Zoom-native presentation. Now this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use screensharing; just another tool for you to share crucial information without fully hijacking the attention from the most important thing - your face!

  • Meeting structure - Time is usually the enemy when doing a client call over Zoom. To get the most out of the constrained amount of time, you need to make sure that the call is structured and time allocation is optimised. For this, use the Meeting Agenda and Meeting Timer to prepare a structure for the meeting ahead of time so that once you’re on the call, you can focus on your delivery and not worry about time.
